Disclosed are an image treating device for displaying image data, a display device, an image treating system, and a method thereof. The image treating device according to the present invention comprises: a communications unit for transmitting image data to a display device; a color gamut converting unit for converting at least a partial color gamut of image data to be transmitted to the display device; and a control unit for controlling the color gamut converting unit so as to convert at least a partial color gamut of image data based on region division information of a display screen received from the display device through the communications unit and profile information for converting a color gamut for a plurality of regions divided by the region division information. Accordingly, the display device can display image data converted into a multi-color gamut without adding a structure for converting a color gamut and a resolution of image data.
