<p>The invention relates to a crystalline polymorph of 4-[5-[3-chloro-5-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-4,5-dihydro-5-(trifluoromethyl)-3-isoxazolyl]-N-[2-oxo-2-[(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)amino]ethyl]-1-naphthalenecarboxamide (Compound 1).1The crystalline polymorph, designated as Form B, is characterized by a powder X-ray diffraction pattern having at least the 2θreflection positions: 17,433; 18,586; 20,207; 20,791; 21,41; 22,112; 23,182; 24,567 and 27,844.Also disclosed are compositions containing a polymorph Form B and methods for controlling an invertebrate pest comprising contacting the invertebrate pest or its environment with a parasiticidally effective amount of Form B or a composition containing the Form B.</p> |
