Disclosed are a device and a method for controlling multiple input/output devices in an electronic device. According to various embodiments of the present invention, the electronic device controls the multiple input/output devices and includes: a reception module for receiving a biometric signal of a user in the electronic device; a checking module for checking user′s state of wearing/non-wearing the electronic device based on at least the biometric signal; and an input/output control module for independently controlling each input/output device which is functionally connected with the electronic device based on at least the state of wearing/non-wearing the electronic device.
