<p>The invention relates to an installation for producing circular cross-cuts in a hydrocarbon carrier bed penetrated by a bore hole, preferably for the recovery of shale gas. According to the invention, the installation comprises a gun () which consists of a tubular housing () fixed, by means of two bearings (), in a bush (), at one end, and a sweeping device (), at the other end, on whose exterior there are some fixed centralizers (), and being provided, preferably, with four lateral openings (), having their centres placed in a same transverse plane and equally spaced apart from one another, the centralizers () being fastened to the housing () at the extremities thereof, some outwardly extendable telescopic subassemblies () being mounted in the openings (), each of these subassemblies consisting of some cylinders () namely lower, intermediate and upper, respectively, located inside of one another, the lower cylinder () having the largest internal diameter, to the upper cylinder () there being fixed an upper lid () provided with some calibrated orifices () and, in front of the central orifice (), a heat source () which emits a laser beam being placed in the upper cylinder (), the lower cylinder () being closed by a lower lid (), to which, in front of another central orifice () cut therein, there is fixed a short pipe () connected to the pipe () for supplying with a pressurized fluid, connected to a coupling bush (), the heat source () being connected, by means of a secondary optical cable () and by means of a high power electro-optical switch () placed in the bush (), with a main optical cable () placed, in its turn, in connection with a high power pulsed laser () as a source of light beams.</p> |
