<p>The invention relates to an installation for cutting ice blocks, also named icicles, which are formed at the eaves of a building. According to the invention, the installation comprises a compressor () generating a pressure of at least 10 atm, which entrains a sodium chloride or calcium chloride solution which passes through a telescopic tube (), provided in its upper part with a valve () and a nozzle (), the telescopic tube () being handled by means of a manually actuated rod () by means of which the pressurized thin liquid jet is directed towards the icicles and cuts them.</p> |
