Pyridopyrazine derivatives and their use

Disclosed herein are pyridopyrazine compounds of formula where the substituents are as defined herein, for example 1-[3-(2-methoxy-phenyl)-pyrido[2,3-b]pyrazin-6-yl]-3-(4-phenyl-butyl)-urea and 1-[3-(4-{ 2-[2-(2-hydroxy-ethoxy)-ethoxy]-ethoxy} -phenyl)-pyrido[2,3-b]pyrazin-6-yl]-3-(4-phenyl-butyl)-urea. The compounds are suitable for the treatment or prevention of physiological and/or pathophysiological states in mammals mediated by the ras-Raf-Mek-Erk signal transduction pathway including cancer, HIV and cardiovascular diseases.
