摘要 <p>The device comprises a frame (8) and a grinding mill (10) projecting in a horizontal projection of the frame for machining an electrode of a welding gun. The grinding mill is rotated through the transmission of a belt (60) and a pulley. The belt is stretched between a driven pulley (42) interdependent in rotation of the grinding mill and a drive pulley (40) interdependent in rotation of a shaft of a motor housed in the frame, along a circuit in a current-free end transverse to a rotation axis of the grinding mill and an axis of the motor. The device comprises a frame (8) and a grinding mill (10) projecting in a horizontal projection of the frame for machining an electrode of a welding gun. The grinding mill is rotated through the transmission of a belt (60) and a pulley. The belt is stretched between a driven pulley (42) interdependent in rotation of the grinding mill and a drive pulley (40) interdependent in rotation of a shaft of a motor housed in the frame, along a circuit in a current-free end transverse to a rotation axis of the grinding mill and an axis of the motor. A casing is mounted on the frame, moves the grinding mill to a position accessible to the electrodes, and receives the transmission units, where the belt is placed in the thickness of the casing. The casing is formed by a turntable having a distal end projecting from the frame and adapted to support the driven pulley. The casing is closed by a lid disposed opposite to the frame. The lid covers the belt and forming a vertical thrust to the pulleys. A vibration damping unit is received at an end of the casing on the other side of a driving axis relative to the grinding mill. The casing comprises: a first bore adapted to leave passage to the driving axis and the driving pulley; and a second bore arranged axis parallel with an axis of the first bore, placed at the distal end of the casing and adapted to receive the driven pulley and the grinding mill. The second bore comprises a shoulder for forming the vertical thrust to the receiving pulley opposite to the thrust formed by the lid. The endless loop is formed in the casing by the realization of two rectilinear trenches excavated from one bore to another in the thickness of the casing. The driven pulley is mounted on ball bearings placed axially on both sides of the driven pulley to axially guide the driven pulley during of the rotation of the belt. The pulleys are pinions with external teeth and the belt is a notched belt. The grinding mill includes a body hollowed out to deliver passage to the released chips of the electrodes brought back against the grinding mill. An independent claim is included for a spot welding installation.</p>
