<p>The present invention relates to a method for setting a via point of a navigation, and, more specifically, relates to a method for setting a via point of a navigation, which is capable of calculating an optimal via point for riding a fellow passenger when the departure point of a driver is different from that of the fellow passenger. To the end, the present invention provides a method for setting a via point of a navigation, comprising the steps of: inputting a plurality of departure points including a departure point of the driver and a departure point of a fellow passenger; prosecuting a path search for the departure point and a destination of the driver and the via point, when the departure point of the fellow passenger is set as the via point; and calculating an optimal via point for the fellow passenger in a driving path from the departure point to the destination of the driver by inputting all sorts of preferred traffic information of the fellow passenger, when the departure point of the fellow passenger is not as the via point.</p> |
