The present invention relates to an air conditioner for a vehicle including a waterproof cover having an improved structure in which the cover is compatible with different types of pipes or wiring harnesses passing through both the right and left sides. The air conditioner for a vehicle comprises: a condenser installed on a roof of the vehicle; an evaporator installed inside the vehicle to cool the inside of the vehicle by exchanging heat with passing air; and a pipe to connect the condenser and the evaporator to circulate a refrigerant, and installed to penetrate the inside and outside of the vehicle, wherein the evaporators are installed on both right and left sides, respectively, to form two ceiling holes penetrated by the pipe, and the air conditioner includes a waterproof cover coupled to the pipe to cover the ceiling holes of the vehicle; and the waterproof cover includes an upper plate member which is coupled to the vehicle to cover the ceiling holes, and in which penetration holes are formed up and down, and an upper plate member removably coupled to the lower plate member to cover the penetration holes, wherein a plurality of holes penetrating up and down between the penetration holes are formed thereon. Therefore, the lower plate member having a relatively large size can be compatible with different systems, and only the shape is changed in the upper plate member to reduce mold costs. When components of the pipe and wiring need to be replaced and repaired, the upper plate member and the lower plate member can be disassembled and reassembled, so maintenance is easy, production costs can be reduced, and the system is watertight. |
