The present invention relates to a low temperature storage for storing agricultural, livestock and marine products and, more specifically, to a low temperature storage and a control method thereof, wherein agricultural products are dried by blown air and a heater, the dried agricultural products are automatically stored at a low temperature, the freshness of the stored agricultural products are maintained by automatically performing air blowing, defrosting, cooling or heater defrosting according to a preset temperature and the stored agricultural products are humidified with naturally occurring condensed water without a need of a separate humidifier to maintain the freshness of the stored agricultural products for a long term. To this end, the low temperature storage of the present invention comprises: a main body having a storage space inside for storing agricultural, livestock and marine products at a low temperature, a roof protruding from the top of the main body by at least 100 to 500 mm or more with rain water-blocking eaves integrally formed, a control device or a wireless control device outside, at least one atmospheric pressure adjustment device to adjust atmospheric pressure and humidity, and a gate; a unit cooler installed inside the main body to have a heater to dry or defrost the stored agricultural, livestock and marine products or maintain a preset temperature, and a defrosting heater overheating prevention sensor; and an outdoor unit installed outside the main body to make the unit cooler be driven at a preset temperature, wherein rain water is not introduced, agricultural products are dried by increasing the temperature of the storage above a preset temperature with the heater when the drying of the agricultural products stored in the low temperature storage is performed by the setting of a user and the agricultural, livestock and marine products are stored at a low temperature by automatically performing air blowing, defrosting, cooling or heater driving after a preset time. |
