<p>NANO-SIZED TO SUBMICRON OF TIO2-SIO2 PARTICLES HAVE BEEN SYNTHESIZED VIA SOL-GEL METHOD USING TITANIUM (DI-ISO-PROPOXIDE) BIS (ACETYL-ACETONATE) (PTP) AND TETRAETHOXYSILANE (TEOS) AS THE PRECURSOR. THE METHOD FOR PREPARING TIO2-SIO2 POWDER HAVING A PARTICLE SIZE OF NANO LEVEL, COMPRISING; ADDING TITANIUM (DI-ISO-PROPOXIDE) BIS (ACETYL-ACETONATE) TO A PARTIALLY HYDROLYZE TETRAETHOXYSILANE (TEOS); SUBJECTING THE RESULTING SOLUTION TO HEAT TREATMENT AT BETWEEN 35 AND 75ºC FORMING A POLYTITANOSILOXANE (PTS) PRECURSOR SOLUTION; DRYING THE SOLUTION IN AIR UNTILL PARTIALLY SOLID; ADDING A SOLVENT INTO THE SOLUTION IN A STIRRING CONDITION FORMING A YELLOW TRANSLUCENT SOLUTION; ADDING THE YELLOW TRANSLUCENT SOLUTION DROPWISELY INTO HEXANE IN VIGOROUS STIRRING CONDITION FORMING A LIGHT YELLOW PRECIPITATE, OBTAINING THE YELLOW PRECIPITATE OF TIO2-SIO2 BY FILTRATION; AND DRYING THE LIGHT YELLOW PRECIPITATE OF TIO2-SIO2 TO OBTAIN TIO2-SIO2 POWDER.</p> |
