Compositions and formulations comprising a non-neutralised tocol phosphate and a vitamin A compound, which are suitable for the treatment of inflammation and/or infection in breast or udder tissue, more particularly in a mammary gland, reducing the somatic cell count in a lactating subject and supplementing vitamin E levels in a subject. The non-neutralised tocol phosphate may be selected from non-neutralised tocopheryl phosphates and non-neutralised tocotrienyl phosphates. The Vitamin A compounds may be a carotenoid and more specifically may be alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, gamma-carotene, beta-cryptoxanthin or lycopene. |
