<p>The present invention relates to a user authentication method on an internet based test (IBT), capable of ensuring reliability for user authentication of an applicant by capturing and uploading a face image of the applicant using an image camera before taking an IBT and displaying the face image on an authentication page by capturing and uploading the face image of the applicant at random time intervals using the image camera even while taking the test. The user authentication method comprises the steps of: (a) setting a testing environment in a terminal of the applicant for an IBT; (b) capturing a face image of the applicant using an image camera provided in the terminal of the applicant and uploading the same to an IBT server after the testing environment is set; (c) capturing the face image of the applicant using the image camera at random time intervals and uploading the same to the IBT server, while the applicant is taking the test, on a testing screen of the terminal of the applicant; and (d) displaying the face images of the applicant uploaded in the steps (b) and (c) at each time interval on the authentication page of the IBT server.</p> |
