A fastener includes a shank having a first attachment device for attachment to a first workpiece and a head having a second attachment device for attachment to a second workpiece. The fastener can be a screw and the first attachment device includes a thread formation on the shank. The head includes a drive formation at a central portion thereof, in the form of a Phillips head screwdriver recess. The second attachment device in the head includes attachment members integrally formed in the head, being three prongs which extend in a generally opposite direction to the shank.

a shank having a first attachment means to a first workpiece; a head having a second attachment means to a second workpiece; and a depth measuring means indicating depth of insertion of at least one of the group consisting of the first attachment means and distance of the head from the first workpiece in use.
