CUTTING METHOD

A cutting method is disclosed for cutting a continuous separator sheet material in a cutting zone comprised between two non-rectangular electrodes using laser means of solid state type, executing on the material a first cutting line that is then intersected by a second cutting line at an intersection point located in an intermediate portion of the first cutting line, with an intersection direction that is perpendicular to the first cutting line at the intersection point.
