<p>The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a control method thereof. The mobile terminal is characterized by comprising a mobile terminal body; a display part arranged on the body, and when converted from an inactivated state into an activated state, displaying screen information corresponding to a preset operation state; a detection part detecting multiple taps applied to the body; and a control part when the multiple taps and touch input corresponding to the last tap among the multiple taps are held, dividing the display part into a first area formed based on the state that the touch input is held, and a second area which is a remaining area except from the first area, and controlling the display part for at least one part of the screen information corresponding to the preset operation state to be displayed on the first area, while the touch input continues.</p> |
