The present invention relates to operating an apparatus according to request information, and a variety of embodiments may disclose a method for operating an apparatus according to request information and an apparatus for supporting the method, the method comprising the steps of: establishing a communication channel with an external apparatus; receiving request information requesting activation of a sensor associated with executing a function in the external apparatus; and controlling so that the sensor is activated in response to the request information.
