<p>A method of flat bottom dredging of a bed at least partially covered with liquid from a floating pontoon (12) comprises controllably rotating a ladder (14) with a cutter head (26) toward the bed to set the dredge depth and force with a first hydraulic system (18); adjusting the cutter head position with a second hydraulic system (22) so that it is level with the bed; and continuously adjusting the ladder depth and force and the cutter head position while dredging through a control system (30) which receives sensor signals.</p> |
