The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a light guide plate, which is capable of manufacturing a required size of a light guide plate without a separate processing operation by prosecuting a double cutting operation with regard to a light incident surface which requires precise cutting processing when the light guide plate is manufactured by cutting an original plate of the light guide plate manufactured to have a large area, to a required size. The method for manufacturing a light guide plate according to the present invention comprises the steps of: 1) manufacturing a light guide plate material; 2) cutting the light guide plate material to a required size, wherein a preparative cut light guide plate is made by previously cutting the light guide plate material including a reminder at a formation side of the light incident surface; and 3) making the light guide plate by precisely cutting, with a precise cut knife, the reminder at the formation side of the light incident surface among the preparative cut light guide plate. |
