The present invention relates to a pipe connecting socket for connecting a pair of pipes adjacent to each other. More specifically, the pipe connecting socket comprises: a housing formed in a hollow body shape into which a pipe is inserted and provided with an inclined surface formed on an inner circumferential surface of both ends thereof to make a diameter thereof become smaller towards a center thereof and screw threads formed on an outer circumferential surface of both ends thereof; a tightening nut provided with screw threads formed on an inner circumferential surface thereof to be mounted on the screw threads formed on both ends of the housing and an inclined surface formed on a rear end of the screw threads to make a diameter thereof become smaller towards a rearmost end thereof; a packing formed in a hollow body shape into which the pipe is inserted and provided with an inclined surface which is formed on an outer circumferential surface of one end thereof and corresponds to the inclined surface of the housing; an arm ring formed in a hollow body shape into which the pipe is inserted and provided with an inclined surface which is formed on an outer circumferential surface of one end thereof and corresponds to the inclined surface of the tightening nut; and a washer mounted between the packing and the arm ring. When the tightening nut screw-mounted on the housing is rotated and tightened, the pipe connecting socket is compressed by the inclined surface of the housing and the inclined surface of the tightening nut which the inclined surface of the packing and the inclined surface of the arm ring contact, respectively, and a diameter of the pipe connecting socket becomes smaller to firmly fix an outer circumferential surface of the pipe inserted into a hollow hole. The pipe connecting socket according to the present invention screw-mounts the tightening nut on the housing and thus has an excellent tightening property. The housing and the packing contact each other by the inclined surfaces, and the tightening nut and the arm ring contact each other by the inclined surfaces. Therefore, a sealing property is excellent, and fluid leakage can be prevented.
