A seat reclining device is provided with a first bracket, a second bracket that is capable of rotation with respect to the first bracket, a cam that is capable of rotation with respect to the first bracket, and a plurality of poles that move in the radial direction of the first bracket in accordance with rotation of the cam and engage with the second bracket. The first bracket comprises: a guide section that guides the poles in the radial direction; and a limiting section that is provided so as to correspond to at least one of the plurality of poles and that limits movement of a corresponding pole in the circumferential direction. A pole that corresponds to the limiting section is arranged so that a gap is formed between the limiting section and the pole, and said pole comprises a contact section that is brought into contact with the limiting section by movement of the pole. |
