A fuel supply line system (200) used for a gas turbine (200), comprising: fuel gas control valves (22, 24) used for controlling delivery to said gas turbine; a first line used for connecting the fuel gas source (10) to said control valves (22, 24); a second line used for connecting said control valves (22, 24) to the gas turbine (40); a monitoring device, configured to be used for determining the pressure inside the pipe at the outlet of said second line near said control valve; and a controller (38), configured to reduce the effective flow area of said pressure control valves (22, 24) or close said control valves (22, 24) when the determined pressure inside the pipe of said second line is greater than a predetermined pressure.
