Provided is a resin composite material which has few voids and which exhibits excellent toughness. A resin composite material obtained by combining a thermoplastic resin with a carbon material which has a graphene structure and which contains less than 1 weight% of a volatile component which volatilizes at 200°C. A resin composite material containing a thermoplastic resin and a carbon material having a graphene structure, wherein 5 parts per weight or more of the carbon material is contained per 100 parts per weight of the thermoplastic resin, and the breaking strain measured in accordance with JIS K7161 is 50% or greater.
