Provided are: a method for producing an aqueous perfluoroelastomer dispersion, in which a specific fluorinated surfactant is used, a sufficient number of particles can exist in the dispersion, and a sufficient polymerization rate can be achieved; and a method for producing a perfluoroelastomer. A method for producing an aqueous perfluoroelastomer dispersion, said method being characterized by comprising a step of carrying out the emulsion polymerization of a perfluoromonomer in an aqueous medium in the presence of a specific fluorinated surfactant in an amount of 2 parts by mass or more relative to 100 parts by mass of the aqueous medium to thereby produce an aqueous dispersion containing perfluoroelastomer particles. |
