The present invention is a power conversion device control method capable of preventing a VL control system from becoming unstable as a result of an increase in gain with respect to a voltage control rate. The voltage (VL) of a reactor (L1) is detected on the basis of the potential on a capacitor (C1) side. A correction coefficient is calculated such that the smaller a first voltage control rate command (ks**) that is the ratio of the amplitude of the AC voltage output by the power conversion unit (2) to an average DC voltage (Vdc) value, the smaller the correction coefficient. A second voltage control rate command (ks*) is generated through correction in which a correction amount (H) arrived at by multiplying the reactor (L1) voltage (VL) by the correction coefficient is subtracted from the first voltage control rate command (ks**). A switching signal (S) generated on the basis of the second voltage control rate command (ks*) is applied to the power conversion unit (2). |
