FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to machine building, namely to cartridges of a mist separator for the devices to supply compressed air to vehicle brakes. A cartridge of a mist separator for the device to provide for compressed air supply in a lorry comprises a drying chamber filled with drying agent. The drying chamber in axial direction can be coupled with the connection flange of the device for compressed air supply. A seal designed as per check valve type is mounted on the drying chamber, it can provide for sealing between the drying chamber and the connection flange when the mist separator cartridge is assembled. The seal is of U-shape profile in the cross-section with flexible bead. The method of the mist separator cartridge operation implies that the seal of U-shape profile in the cross-section with flexible bead mounted on the drying chamber in the device for compressed air supply provides for sealing between the drying chamber and the device's connection flange during transportation. At blowing down of the device for compressed air supply, the seal mounted on the drying chamber provides for controlled bleeding out of the air between the drying chamber and the connection flange.EFFECT: better operational reliability of the device for compressed air supply.7 cl, 4 dwg |
