The method includes sending a first carrier signal at a first frequency using the first communication apparatus. The method also includes receiving the first carrier signal using the second communication apparatus and generating a second carrier signal at a second frequency. The method includes changing the second frequency and/or a specified phase angle, and/or modulating the second carrier signal in each case as a function of the wanted signal in order to generate a transmit signal. The transmit signal is sent by the second communication apparatus, and the transmit signal is received and demodulated in order to recover the wanted signal using the first communication apparatus.

A communication method for communication between a first communication apparatus and a second communication apparatus, wherein at least one wanted signal is transmitted from the second communication apparatus to the first communication apparatus, the method comprising: sending a first carrier signal at a first frequency using the first communication apparatus; receiving the first carrier signal by the second communication apparatus and generating a second carrier signal at a second frequency, the second frequency being different than the first frequency and having a specified rational frequency ratio with respect to the first frequency and a specified phase angle to a phase of the first carrier signal; changing the second frequency, the specified phase angle, or the second frequency and the specified phase angle, modulating the second carrier signal in each case as a function of the wanted signal in order to generate a transmit signal and sending the transmit signal using the second communication apparatus, or a combination thereof; and receiving the transmit signal and demodulating the transmit signal in order to recover the wanted signal using the first communication apparatus.
