1. A display apparatus, comprising:
a display unit including a plurality of pixel circuits, each of which includes a light emitting element, the display unit displaying an image corresponding to a data signal supplied on a basis of display data; a control unit to control, for each pixel circuit, light emission of the light emitting element at a display interval, during which the image is displayed, and sensing of the light emitting element at a sensing interval, during which the light emitting element is sensed using a sensing operation; and a compensation unit to compensate the display data when the sensing operation is performed on a target pixel circuit, the compensation unit compensating the display data by setting a light emission amount of the light emitting element of the target pixel circuit to be an amount obtained by subtracting a sensing light emission amount, which is a light emission amount of the light emitting element of the target pixel circuit during the sensing interval, from a display light emission amount, which is a light emission amount of the light emitting element of the target pixel circuit before the compensation. |
