The present invention optimizes antenna characteristics in accordance with a communication frequency band to be used by an antenna. A communication device (10) is provided with: an antenna switching unit (5) that performs switching so as to connect one of two antennas (1, 2) to a sending and receiving circuit (8) and connect the other to a diversity receiving circuit (9); matching circuit units (3, 4) that match the antennas (1, 2) to each connected circuit (8, 9); and an antenna switching controller (7) that controls the antenna switching unit (5) and the matching circuit units (3, 4) in accordance with the receiving state of the antennas (1, 2). |
