Disclosed are a data transmission method and device. A first device comprises: a first radio-frequency module, at least one second radio-frequency module and a processing module, wherein the first radio-frequency module is used for acquiring first information related to frequency bands supported by the first device within a set scanning cycle; the second radio-frequency module is used for communicating with a second device; and the processing module is used for selecting one available frequency band from the frequency bands supported by the first device according to the first information acquired by the first radio-frequency module when it is determined that the frequency band used for conducting communication between the second radio-frequency module and the second device is required to be replaced, and indicating the second radio-frequency module of which the frequency band is required to be replaced or indicating the first radio-frequency module to communicate with the second device using the selected frequency band, thereby guaranteeing the continuity of data transmission during scanning and frequency band replacement.
