The present invention is provided with: a food container (1) in which foods (2a, 2b) are accommodated; a cooking container (8) in which the food container (1) is accommodated; and a steam generation device (14) which supplies steam into the cooking container (8). The food container (1) is provided with: openings (4a, 4b, 4c) connecting an inside space and an outside space; a space between an inner wall of the food container (1) and the foods (2a, 2b); and at least one food-periphery space (6a, 6b, 6c, 6d) provided between the foods (2a). The at least one food-periphery space (6a, 6b, 6c, 6d) and the outside space are connected by the openings (4a, 4b, 4c). Steam is supplied into the cooking container (8) to perform steam heating. Accordingly, a heating device for foods in a food container can be provided, which is capable of steam heating the foods in the cooking container (8). |
