An objective of the present invention is to provide an artificial tooth whereby it is possible, when arranging artificial teeth in a denture plate designed and formed by CAD/CAM, to attach the said artificial tooth easily and precisely upon the denture plate. Provided is an artificial tooth (21), having a shape corresponding to a denture plate which is designed with CAD on the basis of three-dimensional data and carved. Means (21a-21h) for restricting rotation about a tooth axis are disposed in a site whereat the artificial tooth is to make contact with the denture plate. The restricting means have shapes which do not engage with the denture plate in the tooth axis direction.
