WIND-NOISE RECORDING SYSTEM AND WIND-NOISE RECORDING METHOD

[Problem] To reduce the length of time for which wind noise is recorded while still recording said wind noise reliably. [Solution] A wind-noise recording system (1) that can record wind noise due to light-wind-induced vibration of a power transmission line (2) or the like. Said wind-noise recording system (1) comprises a wind monitoring device (11) and a separate recording device (21). The wind monitoring device (11) is placed near a power transmission line (2) that is causing wind noise. When or after the wind speed near said power transmission line (2) reaches or exceeds a wind-speed threshold, the wind monitoring device (11) wirelessly transmits a start signal, and when or after said wind speed subsequently falls below the wind-speed threshold, the wind monitoring device (11) wirelessly transmits a stop signal. The recording device (21) is placed at a distance from the power transmission line (2) that is causing the abovementioned wind noise, and from the point in time at which the start signal transmitted by the wind monitoring device (11) is received until the point in time at which the stop signal is received, the recording device (21) records only sound having a sound pressure level that is greater than or equal to a sound-pressure-level threshold.
