<p>Provided are an apparatus and a method for converting 3x1 color value vectors which can be obtained by a specific color camera and a specific measuring light state (ex. RGB) into 3x1 color value vectors which can be obtained by a colorimeter (ex. CIE L*a*b*, XYZ, Yxy, L*c*h*, Hunter Lab etc.). The present invention may include the steps of: obtaining an Nx1 color value of a standard color value sample by using the color camera; obtaining an Nx1 color value vector of the standard color value sample by using the colorimeter; outputting an NxN transformation matrix equation by an optimization through a Cost Function Minimization (CFM) between two vector groups inferred by comparing the two obtained vector groups; converting the 3x1 color value vector (RGB) obtained by a sample through the color camera with the NxN transformation matrix equation between the two vector groups obtained during the optimization process, to a color value vector (CIE L*a*b*, XYZ, Yxy, L*c*h*, Hunter Lab) which can be obtained by the colorimeter.</p> |
