(a) a substrate having a surface; and (b) a coating substantially covering the surface, the coating comprising,
(i) a first layer comprising a polycation, a polyanion, or a polar, non-ionic, water-soluble polymer, and(ii) a second layer comprising a platelet having a water content of less than 7% by weight.
