The present invention relates to a delivery system (10) for delivering medical or pharmaceutical compounds, which comprises (a) a container unit (2000) with (a-) a container (2100) for storing the compounds, wherein the container (2100) has a circumferential wall (2102), a first end closed by a container bottom (2104) and an open second end, and wherein the container unit (200) has a longitudinal axis (A), and (a-b) a closure element (2200) accommodated within the container (2100) in a fluid-tight contact with the circumferential wall (2104), and (b) an extraction unit (1000) comprising a penetration and discharge means (1100) having a hollow needle (1102) adapted to penetrate the closure element (2200). The extraction unit (1000) is fitted to the container (2100) so as to be movable relatively to the container (2100) along the longitudinal axis (A) towards the container bottom (2104). Further, the extraction unit (1000) comprises a first link motion portion (1107), and the container (2100) comprises a second link motion portion (2305), wherein one of the first link motion portion (1 107) and the second link motion portion (2305) is provided with a projection (1 106) and the respective other one is provided with a guiding groove (2304), the projection (1 106) and the guiding groove (2304) being engageable with each other to form a link motion adapted to make the extraction unit (1000) move relatively to the container (2100) in a predetermined way towards the container bottom (2104) thereby to make the hollow needle (1102) penetrate the closure element (2200). |
