A mobile terminal and a charging indication method therefor. The method comprises: pre-setting a corresponding relationship between a lightening manner of a key backlight lamp and an electric quantity value of a battery; and when a mobile terminal is connected to a power supply device for charging, controlling the key backlight lamp to display the charging progress of the battery according to the lightening manner corresponding to a real-time electric quantity value of the battery. The mobile terminal comprises a pre-setting module and a charging indication module. By using a key backlight lamp with a mobile terminal as a charging state indication lamp, even if the screen backlight of the mobile terminal is in an off state, the charging progress can be accurately reflected to a user, thereby achieving a good visual effect and improving the user experience while saving costs. |
