The invention relates to a control device for a retarder (2), comprising a first shaft (18) which is connected to a rotor (20) of the retarder (2), a second shaft (22) which is arranged to engage with a driving source, and a first clutch element (54) arranged between the first and second shafts (18, 22), and a pressure sensor (19) arranged in a torus (44) formed between the rotor (20) and a stator. The pressure sensor (19) is connected with a control device (16), which is arranged to receive signals from the pressure sensor (19) in relation to the pressure (p) measured in the torus (44), and arranged to emit signals to control the clutch element (54) depending on the pressure (p) measured in the torus (44). The invention also relates to a vehicle, comprising such a control device (4), and a method for the connection of a retarder (2). |
