An elastic waist panel (11) comprises an outside sheet (23, 24), waist elastic bodies (27, 28), an inside sheet (21, 22), and an illustration sheet (40) which is disposed between the waist elastic bodies (27, 28) and the inside sheet (21, 22) and which has an outwardly visible decorative element. A first waist area (13, 14) has a pair of stretch regions (30, 31) in which the waist elastic bodies (27, 28) are arranged and which are separated in the horizontal direction (X), and a non-stretch region (36, 37) which is positioned between the stretch regions (30, 31) and in which no waist elastic bodies (27, 28) are arranged. At least part of the decorative element is positioned in the non-stretch region (36, 37), and since the illustration sheet (40) is arranged in the non-stretch region (36, 37) between the outside sheet (23, 24) and the inside sheet (21, 22) and is bonded to the outside sheet (23, 24) by a bonding means, the illustration is clearly and outwardly visible even in the non-stretch region, and the required sheet strength is achieved. |
