Provided are a method and a server for automatically summarizing a document. The method of the server for summarizing a document according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: (a) creating a first graph (G_word) by connecting nodes, which represent words of each sentence included a document, to a first edge, which includes a weighted value with respect to a relationship of simultaneous appearances in a sentence; (b) creating a second graph (G_sentence) based on the first graph (G_word) by connecting nodes, which represent each sentence, to a second edge, which includes a weighted value with respect to similarities of sentences; and (c) extracting main sentences from the plurality of sentences by applying a rank algorithm to the second graph (G_sentence). |
