GRAFT-MODIFIED PROPYLENE/α-OLEFIN COPOLYMER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME

A graft-modified propylene/α-olefin copolymer (A) which is obtained by graft-reacting a polar monomer with a propylene/α-olefin copolymer (a) that is composed of 50-90% by mole of a constituent unit (C3) derived from propylene and 10-50% by mole of a constituent unit (Cα) derived from an α-olefin having 4-8 carbon atoms (with the total of the constituent units (C3) and (Cα) being 100% by mole), and which is characterized by satisfying the following conditions (i)-(iv) at the same time. (i) The graft amount of the polar monomer is 0.4-1.5% by weight. (ii) The content of the polar monomer is 1,000 ppm or less. (iii) The content of a gel insoluble in xylene at 140°C is 2.5% by weight or less. (iv) The content of a volatile hydrocarbon compound is 10 ppm or less.
