The present invention relates to a dual band monopole antenna using a stub, which includes: an antenna medium comprising a FR-4 PCB which is a commercial substrate; a stub which controls a resonant frequency by controlling the size and length and forms a common mode and a differential mode depending on the direction of the electricity flow by being formed at the upper part of the antenna medium; an electricity supply unit which delivers electrical signals by being positioned in the horizontal middle of the bottom end of the antenna medium; and a connection stub which achieves an impedance match of a broad band in a high frequency band by connecting the electricity supply unit and the antenna medium. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the dual band monopole antenna is manufactured by using the stub having a common mode and an open board, which forms the common mode and the differential mode depending on the direction of the electricity flow and the resonant frequency becomes controllable and furthermore, characteristics and resonance can also be controllable.
