1. A method of manufacturing a display apparatus comprising:
forming a switching element on a substrate; forming a first electrode on the substrate; forming a sacrificial layer on the first electrode; forming a second electrode on the sacrificial layer; forming a tunnel-shaped cavity between the first electrode and the second electrode by removing the sacrificial layer; forming an image displaying layer in the tunnel-shaped cavity; and attaching an upper polarizing plate to a side of the substrate which is opposite the image displaying layer with respect to the substrate.
