Provided are a hexahydrocolupulone monoester, an inner complex salt or a monoester salt, and an application thereof as an animal feed additive. The compounds as shown in formula 1, formula 2 and formula 3 of the present invention are low in toxicity or are non-toxic to beasts and birds, have higher stability and stronger growth promotion performances than related compounds covered by current patents, and thus are more suitable for being used as a growth promoter for feeds, and have a very good application prospect in the breeding industry.
