A liquefied gas tank that includes an inner tank, which stores liquefied gas, and an outer tank, which forms a vacuum layer between the outer tank and the inner tank. The outside surface of the inner tank is covered by a vacuum heat insulation material. Fasteners that extend so as to pass through the vacuum heat insulation material are secured to at least a downward-facing region of the outside surface of the inner tank. Holding members that hold the vacuum heat insulation material on the outside surface of the inner tank are attached to the fasteners.
