Disclosed are a device switching method and device. The method comprises: for a target node or a first node in a machine-to-machine system, when it is determined that device replacement needs to be conducted on the first node, and according to the stored device information about various other nodes which have been registered, determining a second node with which the first node is replaced to conduct the device replacement. By means of the device and method provided in the embodiments of the present invention, a replaceable device can be selected automatically in a machine-to-machine system to complete device replacement, thereby ensuring the continuity of the communication of the M2M system. |
