<p>The invention relates to a measuring device comprising a measuring transducer provided with a sensor for detecting media properties and producing a primary property-dependant signal, a transducer housing consisting of at least one chamber and first and second openings which are arranged on the medium side and between which a first contamination path section crosses the chamber, a first seal for interrupting the first contamination path section, a circuit disposed in the chamber for treating the primary signal and producing an output signal emitted via a first signal path section through the second opening, wherein the inventive measuring device also comprises a security module, a module housing, at least one module chamber provided with first and second module openings on the transducer side, a second contamination section extends from the first module opening to the module chamber, at least one second seal is provided for interrupting the second signal path section, the security module is connectable to the transducer in such a way that the contamination path sections and the signal path sections are respectively interconnected and a leak sensor for controlling the contamination path section between two seals is also provided.</p> |
