<p>[Summary] [Object] For a heat storage material containing heat storage capsule, to ensure favorable adsorption/desorption performance without reduction in heat storing performance even under a condition where an organic solvent (in particular, evaporable fuel of mixture of alcohol and gasoline) or a condition where moisture is present. [Solution] In a method of manufacturing a heat storage material containing heat storage capsules including a phase change material absorbing/discharging latent heat in accordance with change in temperature, the phase change material being charged in outer shells of the heat storage capsules, the method including the steps of binding a periphery of mutually contacting portions of a plurality of heat storage capsules with a molding binder, thereby to mold a granular molded heat storage material, coating an outer peripheral surface portion of the molded heat storage material with a coating binder to form a coating layer thereon and subjecting the coated molded heat storage material having the coating layer to a reaction promoting treatment for promoting a polymerization reaction of at least the coating binder in the coating layer.</p> |
