<p>The invention relates to an article made of a polymer material having elastic properties, wherein the surface of the article is completely or partially provided with a protective coating (9), wherein the protective coating (9) forms a bond with the main body and comprises a polymer base material in which microparticles (12) having reflective capability are mixed. According to the invention the polymer base material of the protective coating (9) is a polymer formed at least from a first reaction partner in the form of an isocyanate having at least two NCO groups and a second reaction partner in the form of water. The article is in particular a tubular body, a drive belt, or a multilayer material web for forming flexible tanks, tarps, protective clothing, tents, membranes, and the like. With respect to the tubular body, the air cushion bellows deserves particular mention. The invention further relates to a method for producing an article having a reflective protective coating.</p> |
