The present invention relates to a layered product that is characterized in that the animal material are particles (2) optionally fractions of egg shells bonded by a suitable binding agent (3), further to a process for its production, which comprises crushing the shells, sorting thereof, selection of fraction size of the used particles (2), their arrangement into a monolayer (1) and encapsulating thereof in the binding agent (3), whereby after layering several monolayers (1) and incorporation of a tension-resistant material, hardening thereof takes place. Apparatus for producing the above-described product consists of a shell crushing device (10), having its outlet directed into a sorting device (11) with an outlet gap of a monolayer (1) removable mold (12) that can be positioned and opened by a positioning and tipping device (13) being followed up with a monolayer (1) vacuum transfer device (14) to a solid back plate (15), particularly non-wettable for the binding agent, wherein a positionable binder (3) dosing device (16) is arranged close thereto. The solid back plate (15) is situated in working area of a composite vacuum transfer device (17) to molding and hardening device (18) optionally a press. |
